London trip 2002 of class 7c
erstellt: 13.06.2002

At the weekend from the 7th till the 9th June 2002 we were in London. We went by bus to the French harbor in Calais. Then we went by ferry to Dover in England. From there we went by bus to London. In London we made a citysightseeingtour to see all the sights. We stopped at Marble Arch and took the underground to the London Dungeon. It was very expensive, but interesting and scary, so it was worth the money. After the Dungeon we visited the sights Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. From outside they were beautiful, but it was to expensive to go in there. The Buckingham Palace was nice and "kitsch". To get out of the city we went to Notting Hill by Underground. There were nice little shops with antiques and kitsch. As fast as we could we went to the Hard Rock Café and back to the bus.

London was very nice and interesting, but also very expensive.
